Dawsonville Georgia Family Photographer- The Gaines Family Outdoor Session

In addition to my own photography business, I also am the staff photographer for a local magazine in Dawsonville called “Neighbors of Dawsonville.” It is a high end community magazine with localized content for the area. Every month there is a featured family for the cover and main story, and I get to have an exciting session with the family. It has been such a fun experience getting to meet so many different people every month.

In April I had the pleasure to meet the Gaines family. Chris and Jessica have three sons, Carson, Tyler, and Ryan. I especially connected with their family because they have three sons including a set of twins just like I do. It was a bit like looking into my future!

We met up at their neighbor’s property, which was absolutely stunning! We started out the session on the coolest old bridge. We took pictures of the whole family and some of just Chris and Jessica, as well as a few of just the boys with their puppy Coco. Then we took some fun photos of the family in the woods. My favorites were a close-up on the couple while the boys and puppy played in the background. Then we got some fun pictures of just the boys playing in the woods with each other.

Chris and the family own a plane because Chris is also a pilot, so when we were done in the woods we traveled to the local airport and we got some great family pictures in front of the hangar and their plane. We even got a picture of one of the boys with his RV plane that the family does as a hobby together.
